The word ‘Respect’ was originally derived from a Latin word ‘Respicere’, which means to look back at, or, to have a high regard for someone. One of the amazing aspects of this trait is that it has a boomerang effect.  If you show respect/ regard to other people, there is a high possibility that it will come back to you.

As a matter of fact, respect is a very wide word. There can be many forms of respect and it can sometimes be quite tricky to pass it on to the children. For example,

  • How many of us are aware of various kinds of respect?
  • How many of us know that there is a thin line between being obedient and being respectful?
  • Are we Aware that Honesty is a form of being respectful too?
